I used to believe I had to be good in school to be successful.
And for years this belief stopped me from being confident
In many activities of my life.
I realised later in life that a lot of the schooling
Is actually not education but indoctrination.
I think the school system for the next generation could use an upgrade
Yet unfortunately the people who want to do that within the system
Are wrapped in red tape.
I am grateful for those people
For without them there’d be no hope.
This red tape is unfortunate for the next generation.
The brave souls wrapped in red tape
Have the resilience, tenacity and ability to push through this
And build something new
While making the old obsolete.
