Mindwalk is a 1990 Bernt Amadeus Capra film based on his short story. Capra’s short story was based on the book “The Turning Point, who was authored by his brother, Fritjof Capra, the man behind the book, The Tao of Physics.
The premise of the film is the philosophies of very different individuals on systems theory and systems thinking as well as quantum mechanics and particle physics. The characters include a US politician who is visiting a friend in Mont. St. Michael, France, a reclusive Norwegian scientist, and a poet Thomas Harriman. The two gentlemen listens intently as the brilliant but eccentric Norwegian scientist shares how her ideas can work in the politician and the poet’s lives. The film features a wealth of information particularly on tidal flats, the cathedral, the walkways and the giant, ancient clock mechanism.
