My Brilliant Brain: Make Me A Genius

“My Brilliant Brain: Make Me a Genius” is a documentary film first televised by National Geographic in 2007. The film, which was presented by English actress Gina McKee, tells the story of Susan Polgar, the first female chess grandmaster in history.

“My Brilliant Brain: Make Me a Genius” provides viewers proof that geniuses are not always born, sometimes they can be made. Susan Polgar a brilliant chess player after starting her training with her father at the age of 4. For 6 hours per day, she was trained to master chess.

Before 1970, people believed women were incapable of being great at chess because they were believed to lack enough spatial awareness for the game. However, Susan was able to prove everybody wrong, mastering the game and winning awards by simply using her memory.
