The demand for food has consistently been increasing for the past 3 decades. In order to reduce global starvation, scientists have produced Genetically Modified Food. These are products are made by manipulating its DNA, resulting in crops that are resistant to pests.
Despite many companies processing GMOS, studies made by experts are still unable to produce conclusive evidence that GMOs are safe for human consumption. Those that do support and attest to the safety GMOs are said to be tampered studies funded by large corporations. Until this day, the opinion of society is divided when it comes to the dangers of genetically modified food products. “Genetically Modified Food – Panacea or Poison” leaves the viewers to decide whether GMOs are the panacea for global starvation or poison that could potentially endanger the lives of millions.
