“Wikirebels” is the first detailed documentary about Wikileaks and those who are responsible for launching the controversial site. Wikileaks, which was launched in 2006 has over 1.2 million confidential documents from world agencies declassified during its first year alone.
The head and editor-in-chief of Wikileaks is Julian Assange. His vision about the company and his personality was also discussed in this documentary. Despite the allegations of sexual assault against him, he was still able to steer Wikileaks towards infamy.
The film, which is narrated by hard-hitting reporters, Bosse Lindquist and Jesper Huor, takes viewers to key cities where Wikileaks operates, shedding light on little known facts about the website as well as great interviews from Wikileaks members.
