Voices From The Grave

Voices From the Grave is a documentary film that seeks to function as an intimate chronicling of infamous story based in Northern Ireland that has come to be known as The Troubles, an ethno-nationalistic conflict. It follows the accounts of two men who found themselves on opposing sides: Commander of the Belfast Brigade Brendan Hughes of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) and David Ervine leader of the Progressive Unionist Party (PUP) and member of the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF). Having had sworn to not divulge their interviews lest the two men gave their permission or have passed on, the documentary uses footage of the two men telling their sides of the story from the researchers of Boston College who interviewed them over more than a decade ago.
