This 2006 Canadian documentary film was directed, written and narrated by Rob Stewart. In this film, we get to see as Stewart attempts to crush the current attitudes and mentality towards sharks. Stewart also attempts to expose the shark-hunting industry and how it is hastening the extinction of the sharks.
Sharkwater visits the greatest and most prominent shark populations in the world. They aim to expose the corruption and exploitation involved in the shark-hunting industry located in the marine reserves of Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica and the Cocos Island. We get to follow Rob Stewart and Paul Watson along with his Sea Shepherd Conservation Society go around and confront different shark poachers in Costa Rica and Guatemala.
