How to Avoid Mistakes in Surgery

Written and directed by David Stewart, “How to Avoid Mistakes in Surgery” is a documentary created to help doctors make the right decisions while putting a patient under the knife. The film was first released by BBC in 2013 and is presented by Dr. Kevin Fong as he visits other high-pressure professions to learn from them. He studied firefighters, pit crews from the Formula One, and airline pilots to see how they make big decisions while under pressure. He then correlates his findings to surgery in the hopes that the film can help doctors.
