Full of Life

Children Full of Life is a 2003 Japanese documentary directed by Noboru Kaetsu for Japan NHK. The documentary film featured Mr. Kanamori, a 4th grade homeroom teacher who teaches his students lessons about teamwork, community, openness and how to cope with the harm caused by bullying.

The film follows the life of Mr. Kanamori’s 10-year old students, how their teacher instructs them to write their feeling on a paper and share it in front of the class. Through sharing their fears, happiness and their thoughts, the children learn about caring and compassion for their classmates.
