Fat Head

“Fat Head” is a documentary film first released to the public in 2009. The film is written, directed, and starred by comedian Tom Naughton and was made as a reply to the highly popular anti-fast food documentary “Super Size Me”. In his version, he aims to let the viewers know that people can lose weight by eating burgers and fries.

In order to support his theories, Naughton interviews experts such as doctors and nutritionists to give their insights about the real meaning of a healthy diet. He emphasizes that the increase in obesity should not be blamed on fast food chains and family-owned restaurants. According to Naughton, it is not the type of food that is served but the frequency of eating such food that make people fat and unhealthy.
