Million Dollar Traders is a reality television series created by Lex van Dam. What he originally planned to do was to recreate Richard Dennis’ Turtle Traders experiment which became really popular in 2003.
This TV show follows a group consisting of twelve aspiring traders who attempt to deal with various shares that occurred during the financial crisis from 2007 to 2009. They were to keep at it until one of them would emerge victorious. The contestants all come from different backgrounds and different walks of life. The only thing that unifies them is their desire to prove that they have what it takes to bake it big in the trading world.
Throughout the series the contestants were given a sterling equivalent to $1 million from van Dams own money. The objective was for them to trade this money for the period of two months and gain some profit. Tune in to the drama of the cutthroat world of trading with this TV series.
