Human all too human: Martin Heidegger

This three-part documentary by BBC takes us into the lives of three prominent and iconic philosophers Friedrick Nietzsche, Jean-Paul Sartre and Martin Heidegger.

The first on the list, Friedrich Nietzsche is a German philosopher, poet, composer and philologist who has made an impact on the fields of religion, philosophy and science, morality and contemporary culture. One of his key contributions include the Apollonian/Dionysian dichotomy, the Will to Power, perspectivism, death of God and the eternal recurrence.

Jean-Paul Sartre is a French philosopher, novelist, political activist, literary critic, screenwriter and biographer. He was one of the figures who played an important role in the philosophy of existentialism and phenomenology. He was also one of the important personalities during the 20th century French philosophy and Marxism.

Martin Heidegger is a German philosopher famous for his phenomenological and existential explorations and investigations of the question of Being.
