Gardens of Destiny is a 2009 film that explains how sustainable agriculture is the answer to improving food production in North America. The 63-minute film features Dan Jason, a gardener with an impressive selection of seeds, vegetables, grains, medicinal plants and flowers. He developed a grassroots organization called Seed and Plant Sanctuary Canada. The group is committed to preserving the planet’s diversity.
Together with Jason are six other experts who wanted to change the current food system. Jason has long been a critic of North America’s non-organic food system. Gardens of Destiny is written and directed by indie filmmaker, Jocelyn Demers.
